Laurel E. Tank
Laurel E. Tank, 75, of 3212 Saemann Ave., went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 7, 2008, at St. Nicholas Hospital.
She was born Laurel Elizabeth Dorothy Sickles on July 11, 1932. Laurel was united in marriage to Harold Leider in 1949, then united in marriage to Donald Tank in 1993.
Laurel was employed by Saunders Leasing Systems in Sheboygan until her retirement. She enjoyed being a "snowbird" spending winters in the Southern United States and the summer back in Sheboygan with family. She also enjoyed spending time on her hobby of genealogy, playing Sudoku and teaching Sheepshead at the Senior Center.
Her survivors include Laurie (Bob) Kilcrece, Sheboygan, Leann (Mark) Quasius, Town of Wilson, Lisa (David) DeSmith, Cleveland; grandchildren, Jaclyn (Jim) Fanslau, Daniel Quasius, Matthew DeSmith and Ashley (Nick) Freudenreich; her special friend Lorraine Storheim; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1998.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 11, 2008, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
