Marjorie A. Storer Marjorie A. Storer, 78, of Sheboygan, died Monday, December 5, 2011, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Born June 9, 1933, and grew up in Tipton, IN, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Cloiyde and LaVerne Pitcher Porter. Marjorie received her Nurses training in Indianapolis, IN. On July 20, 1954, she was united in marriage to Edwin W. Storer III. The couple was married for 55 years before Ed preceded her in death in August 2010. Marjorie was a Red Cross Volunteer School Nurse at Urban Jr. High for 8 years, a volunteer for 10 years at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. As a teen she joined Job's Daughters and later was an adult advisor for her daughters. Marjorie was a member of Shoreline Women's Club where she had held several officer positions. She enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Hole In One Club at Pine Hills, she also enjoyed playing Bridge and reading. Marjorie was a former member of First Presbyterian Church and was the Sunday School Coordinator for many years. She is currently a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Plant City, FL Marjorie is survived by her four children, Edwin W. (Ned) Storer IV and his wife, Marilyn, Fond du Lac, Mary Ann Stromeyer and her husband Stuart, Fredericksburg, TX, Joseph D. Storer and his wife Lori, Baton Rouge, LA, and Susan Storer, Plant City, FL; her sister, Jeanne Maynard, Tipton, IN; her sister-in-law Nancy L. Hargus, McAllen, TX; eight grand children, two great grandchildren, six step grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin and one sister, Norma Burket. Private family services will be held for Marjorie. The Rev. Richard Manny, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will take place in Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. A memorial fund has been established in her name for Prairie Crossing. The family would like to thank the staff at Prairie Crossing and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for all of their caring, love and support.
