John R. Severson   John R. Severson, 61, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday evening, March 2, 2008, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Born September 4, 1946 in Point Pleasant, WV, John was a son of the late Robert and Alice Buttle Severson. He served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1965 to 1969. John was a lineman for Alliant Energy for 30 years, retiring in 2001. He is survived by his two children, Kim (Dale) Koepke, Sheboygan, and Sean (Sheri) Severson, Kiel; three brothers, Wayne, Rick (Nancy) and Roger Severson, all of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Jordan Hartman, Dakotah Hudson, Gunnar, Levi, and Nayomi Koepke, all of Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his name to the Mead Library.     Email Condolences for John Severson   Top of Page
