David Maurice Ryan, Sr.

David Maurice Ryan, Sr., of 704 Grand Ave., Sheboygan, WI 53083, loving Husband & Father, has gone to Heaven to be with his Lord & Savior on Thursday, March 6, 2008, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 8, 1940 and and raised in Eden, WI , son of Maurice Ryan & Violet Huck Ryan. He lived in the Eden area most of his life with the last 15 yrs. living in Sheboygan. He graduated in 1957 from Campbellsport High School. On August 2, 1984 he married Barbara (Patchett) of Fond du Lac.

He was in farming and served for many years with the Eden Fire Dept. He worked for the last 28 yrs. at Kohler Co. factory in the Osborn Division, retiring in 2006. He enjoyed his family & friends very much. Always looking to give the next laugh to someone.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; 11 children, daughter, April (Jamie) Haas, Howards Grove, daughter Amy of Sheboygan, son David Jr. at home, daughter Kristy of Sheboygan, daughter Patrisha at home, daughter Sharon (Jerry) Klotz of West Bend, daughter Judy (John) Hammen of Florida, daughter Colleen (Randy) Karoses of Campbellsport, daughter Beth (John) Petrie of Mt. Calvary, son Timothy (Felicia) of Fond du Lac, daughter Tammy (Craig) Sauk of Eau Claire; 17 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Granchild, neices and nephews. He is also survived by a sister, Jeanette (Tom) Lloyd of Fond du Lac; a brother Carl (Fern) of Eden; Mother-in-law Dorothy Patchett, of Fond du Lac; 1 Sister-in-law, Sandy (Miles) Mertens of Van Dyne. He was preceded in death by his brother Ray (Harriet), his parents and one nephew.

Friends & relatives may offer condolences at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1810 N.13th St., Sheboygan on Monday from 10:00 a.m.to 12:00 noon with a Memorial Service to follow in the Church. Following cremation burial will take place at a later date in Lutheran Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Aurora VNA Hospice for the special care they gave David.
