Harvey worked for Gabe's Construction for many years, retiring in 2000. Previously, he was co-owner of Bruggink's Inc. He was a member of St. Dominic Parish. He enjoyed gardening, coin collecting and spending time at Whispering Pines Lodge. He loved taking trips to Las Vegas and Oneida but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

He is survived by his five children, Debra (Tim) Eirich, Peggy (special friend Don Wassink) Klumb, Mary (Roger) Benzschawel, James (Heather) Lederer, Amy (fiancé Mitch Brunner) Schneider, all of Sheboygan; ten grandchildren, Andy and Thomas Eirich, Angie Shaw and Michael Benzschawel, Jenny Klumb, Jeremiah Lederer, Tabitha Meyer, Courtney Lederer, Rachel and Mark Schneider, all of Sheboygan; eight great grandchildren, Mateo, McHale and Maddux Shaw, Jonah Benzschawel, Molly Klumb, Scott Perez, Carly and Brianna Lederer; his special friend, Sandy Fischer; his sister, Carol George; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Harvey will be celebrated at 4:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at St. Dominic Catholic Church, N. 21st St. & Geele Avenue. The Rev. Al Veik, pastor, will celebrate the Mass.  Relatives and friends are welcome at the church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.  Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in his name.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Sharon S. Richardson. Community Hospice, Sunny Ridge Rehabilitation Center and Aurora Grafton, I.C.U for all of their loving care and support.
