Carol W. Fullbright

Carol W. Wettstein Fullbright, age 91, formerly of 4032 Kruschke Ave., Sheboygan, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Sheboygan, where she had been a resident for the past 5 years.

She was born on July 9, 1916, in Fond du Lac County, a daughter of the late Frank and Paula Gerhold Trier. She attended grade school in New Holstein and graduated from New Holstein High School in 1935.

On March 30, 1940, Carol was united in marriage to Raymond Wettstein at Holy Rosary Church in New Holstein. They later moved to Sheboygan, where he preceded her in death on February 25, 1968. She married Lorraine "Chuck" Fullbright on March 29, 1975 in Lime Ridge. They made their home in Watertown and later in Waterloo, where Chuck preceded her in death on December 28, 1977.

Carol was an accomplished seamstress and utilized her talents at various shoe factories throughout her working career. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crosswords, sewing and crocheting. She was a gifted artist and spent many years sketching Fashion - Model Paper Dolls, which she graciously distributed to many of the young girls in New Holstein.

Carol is survived by her daughter and son in law, Judy and Rodney Nitsch of Sheboygan; her son Paul "P.T. Kelly" Wettstein of Watertown; her grandchildren, Brenda (Ed) Justinger, Howards Grove, Scott (Bronnyn) Wettstein, Custer, WI, Paul Raymond (Genny) Wettstein, Stockton, CA, Michael and Betsey Sullivan, Washington, Cliff and John Zelko, Sheboygan; ten great grand children; three step grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husbands, her son David Wettstein, her daughter Diane (Joe) Sullivan, an infant daughter Mary Wettstein, a grandson Christopher (Susan) Wettstein, four sisters, two brothers and an infant brother.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, at the Chapel of Eternal Light Mausoleum of Greenlawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Michael Dineen will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the Chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
