Marjorie D. Fox

 

Marjorie D. Fox, 77, of 916 Huron Avenue, passed away early Tuesday morning, February 26, 2008, at St. Nicholas Hospital.

Born March 7, 1930, in Sheboygan, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Gottlieb and Dorothy Aggen Martin. On October 23, 1948, she was united in marriage to Leander J. Fox at St. Dominic Catholic Church. They were married for 53 years before Leander preceded her in death on June 14, 2002.

Marjorie was employed by Ross Glove for 15 years, retiring in 1998 She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting and made baby hats for St Nicholas Hospital and for newborns overseas. She also loved to play bingo.

She is survived by her ten children, Mary (Mickey) Carey, Sheboygan, Rodney Fox, Pensacola, FL, Richard (Vickie) Fox, Okeechobee, FL, LeRoy (Shannon) Fox, Reedsville, WI, Sherry (James) Bath, Sheboygan, Robert (LoraLee Jensen) Fox, Kaukauna, WI, Barbara (Stan) Sander, Plymouth, Kenneth Fox, Sheboygan, Leander Fox, Sheboygan, Pamela (Kevin) Thiel, Sheboygan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother, Rodney Martin, Sheboygan. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of Eternal Light of Greenlawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008. Fr. John Radetski, pastor of St. Dominic Catholic Church will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the chapel from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place in the Chapel of Eternal Light of Greenlawn Memorial Park.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
