Lorraine E. Bogenschuetz

Lorraine E. Bogenschuetz, 82, a resident of Sheboygan Senior Community, died there Saturday, May 3, 2008

Born May 19, 1925, in Elkhart Lake, WI, Lorraine was a daughter of the late Alvin and Dorothy Kraemer Binder. On September 18, 1943, she was united in marriage to Harvey Bogenschuetz in Columbus, GA. The couple was married for 43 years before Harvey preceded her in death on July 19, 1987.

Lorraine was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and the church's Leah Circle. She was also a member of the Amvets Auxiliary and AARP.

She is survived by two sons, Dean (Sue) Bogenschuetz and Gerald Bogenschuetz, both of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; one sister, Beatrice (Milton) Goff, Vilonia, AR; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gilbert Binder, a sister, Barbara Goff and an infant sister Dorthea.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and nurses and staff of Sheboygan Senior Community for the loving care they gave Lorraine.
